The winners & the nominations are the flag bearers who have not only brought a revolution but also provoked people to follow the path of their dreams.

Radioandmusic.com hosted the India Audio Summit & Awards as an initiative to recognize and reward the best practices in radio, podcasting, and other creative audio projects. The stage saw and honoured individuals and organizations who have contributed to radio, podcasts, audiobooks, and technology.

The Programming Director of J&K and Station Incharge Srinagar, Abrar Zargar, said, “This award is in dedicated to Abdul Rashid, aka Reshma, the documentary's main storyteller, who passed away in November 2022.”

Gender is a cornerstone of a person’s identity. While people are fighting for the equal rights of the two genders, the third gender still has no access to provide access to gender recognition in a manner consistent with the rights to freedom from discrimination, equal protection of the law, privacy, identity, and freedom of expression.

Denying someone the legal recognition of their gender negatively impacts all aspects of their life: their right to health, housing, to access social security, freedom of movement, and residence; and it also fuels discrimination, violence, and exclusion in social settings, including educational and work environments. This leads to the third gender opting for the professions that ‘society’ doesn’t deem fit.

In other parts of India, the third gender predominantly works as sex workers, but in the Valley of Saints, the Paradise on Earth, Kashmir, the cultural ethos doesn’t allow the conscience of the third gender to work on such terms. They still stick to culturally accepted jobs like singing at weddings, working as match-makers, etc. While they also want to live a normal life like the other two genders, they get marginalized and are stuck in these jobs for life.

Red FM J&K took an initiative in the form of a short documentary to show the plight of the transgender community in Kashmir. This documentary provides insight into the difficulties and social abuse that this community has to deal with.

Despite all of these obstacles, many have risen to the occasion and have inspired society in a variety of ways. As a society, we must all work together to support and respect this community and its members. “This subject was very close to our hear, which our Digital Associate and I envisioned together and tried to see it through the camera lens to capture the vision and show it to our people,” said RJ Rafiq who has been actively involved in bringing the energy of the station up.

Burhan Nazir, the eye behind the camera for this documentary said, “with this initiative, I realized Red FM is not just about entertainment but more.”

Alongside this documentary, the other winners included the likes of Anupama Chopra, Vikram Bhatt, Saurabh Dwivedi, Cyrus Broacha, Navya Naveli Nanda, RJ Praveen, Rj Raunac, Amit Dubey, and more for their contribution to the Radio industry in the past one year.

This award show, hosted by The Indian Television Dot Com Group in Andheri West, Mumbai, garnered entries from all over India, including podcasters, social media content creators, and radio stations. The best in their respective categories were nominated, demonstrating the audio medium's prowess in India.
Editorial Staffhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02175197367463517298noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8623550413785123586.post-55211680676654553612023-01-12T11:51:00.002+05:302023-01-12T11:51:15.851+05:30TO MY LIFE

You are my life.

You are as important as oxygen and food are to me.

You make me complete,

While without you, I am incomplete.

My emotions are raw and you are to mature them.

My feelings get hurt and you are to honour them.

I know only you understand me,

That makes me to get more inclined to you.

Your lyrics are sung by my soul,

To soothe my nerves.

Your music touches my heart and every part of my body begins to sing.

You raise me up when obstacles are too difficult to surpass.

You boast my morale when every support is missing.

You don’t allow the scorching sun’s rays fall on me.

You provide shade, though there are no trees.

You are the source of comfort.

You are the aim of my life.

My dear, without you I am incomplete.

The Poem is written by Saniya Bashir, who is a Class 8th student from Khushipora, H. In fact, the UAE is India's second-largest export destination for agricultural commodities. India's agricultural and food product exports to the UAE totaled $1,926 million in 2020-21, and they surpassed $1,865 million in the first three quarters of 2021-22.

The new alliance between Digpu News Network and Khaleej Times aims to boost Indian food and agriculture exports by 25 per cent. This would be accomplished by enhancing their brand's reputation and visibility in the UAE and other West Asian countries.

Digpu News Network aims to meet with APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) soon to share its business and promotion ideas. "APEDA is an apex organization under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry that is responsible for promoting and developing the export of various agricultural products," stated Kunwar Devender Singh, Founder of Digpu News Network.

In 2018, Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, recorded the greatest value of foreign tourist receipts, totalling more than US$21 billion. This graphic depicts the prospects in the UAE for Indian art and craft, textiles, readymade clothing, gems and jewellery, food and agriculture, toys and allied items, tech services, and other industries.

Digpu's partnership with Khaleej Times will assist Indian entrepreneurs in establishing business partnerships and exploring new opportunities in West Asian nations such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Iran.

Pertinently, The Khaleej Times is the UAE's most widely read and longest-running English daily newspaper, having been established in 1978. "With our continued efforts, we want to grow Indian exports to the UAE market by 20-25 per cent in the next year. In addition to content distribution, we will work on numerous media projects for qualifying entrepreneurs around the world," Singh explained.

Digpu News Network has already launched hundreds of regional news networks in India and overseas by promoting their in-depth journalistic work on the websites of its affiliated news partners.

Similar partnerships had previously been inked with Hindustan Times, News18, Live Mint, Money Control, Forbes India, First Post, Desi Martini, Vigor Column, Trendy Bash, IPR, and other Indian mainstream media outlets.
